Microsoft Launches Government Cloud Services

AKA Enterprise Solutions joined Microsoft for the Cloud for Government Summit in Washington, D.C. earlier this month. We have been building solutions for government based on our years of servicing government organizations and currently feature Dynamics AX and Dynamics CRM along with our DynamicsAdvantage enhancement solutions all running on Microsoft’s newly launched platform.

At the summit, Microsoft CEO, Satya Nadella announced the general availability of Microsoft Azure Government, their government community cloud platform for U.S. state, local and federal government agencies. These integrated services such as storage, data, networking and applications are hosted in Microsoft data centers located within the U.S. and managed by cleared U.S. personnel. Microsoft’s government cloud services are designed to help government agencies integrate disparate on-premises, cloud and data systems and enable seamless communication and collaboration.

AKA’s DynamicsAdvantage for Governments running on AX enhances government agencies procurement processes and improves usability and security of Microsoft Dynamics AX on Microsoft Azure Government by providing Vendor Contract Management, Contract Pricing and Encumbrances for Blanket Purchase Orders. Our Form Enhancements, Excel Import Utility, Templates, and Workflows automate the process of adding new accounts and enhances reporting to improve control and compliance.

“We are honored to be the first partner to install and test Dynamics AX and our DynamicsAdvantage for government solutions in Microsoft’s One Government Cloud and we are thrilled to be participating in the launch”, said Alan Kahn, CEO of AKA Enterprise Solutions.
