Meet the leaders who provide direction and inspiration at AKA

Our leadership team represents a range of backgrounds that might surprise you. Yes, they are all seasoned professionals with software, sales, consulting, and marketing experience. But there’s also engineering, accounting, IT, military service, and even anthropology in the mix. This diverse blend of personalities from all walks of life has created a team that leads by example, knows how to listen, and brings out the very best in our people. This is the kind of leadership that inspires.

Alan Kahn
Co-President

With nearly 30 years of experience in professional consulting and management, Alan focuses on growing the company by developing long-term relationships with clients and partners. He also oversees business development and strategic planning.

Alan is President of InterDyn and Chairman and Founder of Dynamics Global Partners (DGP), both global organizations comprised of independently owned Dynamics consultancies that work collaboratively solving common business problems, sharing information, expertise and resources where appropriate.

Alan holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Rutgers University. He is a member of the Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) and the International Technology Association (ITA). He is an active contributor on Microsoft Advisory councils and has been recognized by Microsoft for his significant contributions, having twice been awarded their coveted Eagle Award. Alan also serves as an industry expert for several industry journals and trade publications.

Benjamin Holtz
CFO

Ben is a third-generation accountant and a veteran of Arthur Andersen (both as an accountant and as a consultant) and Platinum (now Epicor) Software. He brings his unique background and education of a finance professional to AKA, as well as experience in large consulting firms. As well as his “financial mind”, Ben’s many strengths include his ability to maintain structure, consistency, and procedure so that the company can operate and grow.

Ben also brings a background in starting businesses to the table, which is a valuable contribution to the stable of knowledge and experience at AKA.

Ben holds a Bachelors in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from the University of Washington.

Kostas Tzigizis
Executive Vice President, Sales

Kostas is responsible for the continued expansion of AKA’s sales and marketing initiatives to achieve significant growth in revenue and profitability within key vertical markets and the Microsoft product lines. He brings nearly two decades of experience working with organizations across industries.

Kostas also has a strong technical background, including consulting, application development, system implementation, and technical architecture & design services. He has worked directly with organizations to design, develop, and deploy complex systems.

He holds an MS in Management Information Systems from Boston University and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Northeastern University.

Manpreet Kalsi
Executive Vice President, Professional Services

Manpreet is responsible for the successful delivery of each and every project to our clients. He has 25 years of progressive experience in strategic leadership, client management, business development, vendor management, product development, program/project management and technical management.

Manpreet has built and nurtured numerous professional services and product development organizations in his career. He has extensive experience in ERP implementations and is a thought leader in defining implementation methodologies and best practices.

Manpreet holds a Bachelor of Technology in Engineering from the National Institute of Technology in India. He is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).

Jim Bretschneider
Executive Vice President, Solutions

With nearly 20 years of management experience, Jim leads the team that helps shape AKA’s future direction with technology. He has an outstanding track record for accelerating growth and increasing software sales through vertical marketing strategies.

Jim’s executive leadership experience includes building and improving professional services organizations as well as selling and delivering advanced business solutions based on Microsoft Dynamics. Having served as managing director at Columbus IT USA Inc., he has an extensive background in building successful sales teams and producing rapid and profitable growth.

Jack Ades
Co-President

Jack oversees all aspects of the company’s business strategy. He sets the roadmap for growth, including product and service offerings, vertical markets, and talent acquisition. Much of his focus is on AKA’s marketing, ensuring the company continuously improves its brand equity and reach. For more than 30 years, his passion for empowering individuals and companies through technology has contributed to AKA’s growth from tech start-up into a leading worldwide provider of high quality business consulting services.

Jack holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the George Washington University School of Engineering. He speaks at local and national business and software conferences and serves on multiple CEO peer advisory groups. He has twice been awarded the Microsoft Eagle Award for his valued partnership and contributions to the business information technology industry.

Tom Berger
Vice President, Financial Services

Tom strategically leads the Financial Services practice by providing tangible, high-return enterprise cloud solutions. He works closely with marketing, delivery, and sales to ensure we are addressing our clients' needs insofar as sales, service, operations, analytics, and Cloud infrastructure are concerned. He is accountable and responsible to AKA's CEO for the company’s entire Financial Services book of business.

As a consultative solutions sales professional with over 20 years of field experience, Tom is results driven, experienced, possesses excellent CXO communication and selling skills, and is knowledgeable in both business practice and the technology of solution platforms. He has successfully sold software or services to CXO, business and IT decision makers.

Pam Modrich
Vice President, Customer Success

Pam began her career at Great Plains Software managing Investor Relations, a position she held until the successful acquisition of Great Plains by Microsoft. A 20-year veteran of Microsoft, Pam has held roles across sales, marketing, channel and business management. Her current focus with AKA is existing customer strategy and she leads the team responsible for client account management for 250+ customers across ERP, CRM, BI and Azure.

A native of North Dakota, Pam holds a BS from Minnesota State University Moorhead.

Michael Quattlebaum
Vice President, Consulting

As Vice President of AKA's CE (Customer Engagement) practice, Michael has 20+ years of experience in technology and financial services, focusing on a business-centric approach to problem solving. His expertise in functional and technical design enables him to convey confidence to end users as well as C-level executives.

Kristen Ramerini
Director, Human Resources

As Director of Human Resources for AKA, Kristen is responsible for all human resource initiatives including recruitment, onboarding, professional development/career progression, performance management, culture, and employee retention.

Prior to her position with AKA, she worked in human resources and recruiting for Seviroli Foods on Long Island and CCN, Inc. in New York City. She holds an MA in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from Hofstra University and is PHR certified.

Amy Spencer
Director, Marketing

Amy leads the team that is responsible for go-to-market strategies, messaging, and demand generation for AKA’s financial services practice, as well as the company's cross-industry offerings. She also responsible for the processes and systems, such as marketing automation and CRM, that the team employs to align marketing with sales for a greater impact.

Amy earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from The College of New Jersey and has 25+ years of experience in marketing management for technology and professional services companies.
