What attracted you to an opportunity with AKA?

I initially started my career as a developer. When I saw the Managed Services job description I was excited because it gave me the opportunity to explore a product which was different than my previous role doing pure development.

What were you pleasantly surprised to learn about AKA, either in the interview process or when you joined?

I was surprised at how fast the interview process was. Also after I joined AKA I was happy to learn that the people are great. I love my team and I love the work life balance that AKA offers.

What is the best part about working for AKA?

AKA’s culture!

Can you share a rewarding experience from your time at AKA?

Our Managed Services Coordinator started a reward system where we receive certain level of awards based on how we handle our assigned cases with clients. This has been very motivating and when I receive an award it pushes me to achieve even more. This makes me more enthusiastic about my work.

What are 3 words that you would use to describe AKA’s culture?

Friendly, Cooperative, Supportive

Can you tell us an interesting fact about yourself?

I am always open to learning new things. I never say no to a challenging opportunity. Being a developer there are always times where you are unsure of a certain functionality but I try my best to solve every problem!

What attracted you to an opportunity with AKA?

First I looked on Glassdoor and saw that AKA had very good reviews. I was also impressed that AKA focused on different areas within Microsoft Dynamics which would give me an opportunity to explore and work with other products.

What were you pleasantly surprised to learn about AKA, either in the interview process or when you joined?

After I joined AKA I was glad to learn that you are given responsibilities and it is on you to accomplish the work that needs to be done. AKA gives you the opportunity to be successful and you are given credit for all of the work that you do. You can also reach out to anyone in the organization when you need to.

What is the best part about working for AKA?

AKA is an awesome company to work for. The best part is the work life balance and the roadmap to a career that they put in front of you.

Can you share a rewarding experience from your time at AKA?

When I started with AKA I was immediately placed onto a project where we have already had two successful deployments. After that success it was inspiring to get positive feedback from other employees and even the CEO on Yammer. This motivates me to do the best work that I can.

What are 3 words that you would use to describe AKA’s culture?

Caring, Trust, Honesty

Can you tell us an interesting fact about yourself?

While I was working as a student at my first job, I was the first person in my company to get certified in Microsoft Dynamics CRM. I passed the exams before our senior team members!
